Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil Premium funding is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Schools receive funding for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.

Pupil Premium Strategy

Each year, schools must publish how they are going to spend their Pupil Premium money and the impact of the money spent the previous year.
